Our story

Ghar-er ranna, done properly

Kromoni began in a home kitchen in Burdwan with one belief — that the food we grew up eating deserves the same care when it travels to your door. No shortcuts, no premixes. Mustard oil, whole garam masala, and recipes that came down through three generations.

Being a cloud kitchen means we spend nothing on dining rooms — and everything on ingredients, packing and getting your food to you while it's still steaming.

Before you ask

How far do you deliver?

Up to 8 km from our kitchen near G.T. Road, covering Burdwan town and its immediate outskirts. Share your location while ordering and we'll estimate it instantly; availability is confirmed by Kromoni when your order is accepted.

Is delivery free?

Free within 1 km of the kitchen. Beyond that a flat ₹30 delivery charge applies, up to our 8 km limit. The final fee is confirmed by Kromoni with your order.

What payment methods are accepted?

Cash on delivery and UPI on delivery (we carry a QR code). Online payment is coming soon — for now, you pay only when the food reaches you.

Can I schedule an order for later?

Yes. Pick a delivery date and evening slot at checkout — we cook 5 to 10 PM, and last same-evening orders reach us by 9:15 PM. When we're closed, checkout offers the next evening's slots.

Do you accept party and bulk orders?

Happily — that's our favourite kind of cooking. Give us 48 hours' notice and use the quotation form above for a custom menu, priced per plate.

What are preorder specials?

Dishes like mutton chaap, yakhni pulao and daab-er payesh are made in special batches and need at least a day's notice. Add them to your basket and checkout will guide you to a valid date. Mutton chaap has a minimum of 4 pieces.

How are cancellations and refunds handled?

You can cancel free of charge until we put your order on the flame (usually within 10 minutes of confirmation). If something arrives wrong or damaged, send a photo on WhatsApp within 2 hours and we'll replace it or refund via UPI. Details are in our refund policy.

Is pickup available?

Yes — choose Pickup at checkout. We're a cloud kitchen, so there's no dine-in or waiting area; we'll tell you exactly when your order is ready to collect.
